School activity clubs are organised during the year. These are voluntary lunchtime and after school clubs run by school staff and Gipping Valley and Thurston Partnership. A variety of different activities are on offer for children.  At the start of each term parents are sent information about the clubs on offer and asked to return a permission slip before any child is allowed to participate.

Club activities that may be available include:

Wood Ley School Staff run different clubs throughout the year, a selection of the clubs we run are: 

• Music, iPad club, construction club, choir, football, gardening, tennis, puzzle club, colouring, book club and tchoukball club.

Gipping Valley and Thurston Sports Partnership run clubs:

• dance club, multi sports, cricket, football club, boxercise and archery.
