{"id":105,"date":"2013-05-17T21:30:01","date_gmt":"2013-05-17T21:30:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/woodley.suffolk.sch.uk\/?page_id=105"},"modified":"2020-01-05T17:32:01","modified_gmt":"2020-01-05T17:32:01","slug":"friends-association","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/woodley.suffolk.sch.uk\/index.php\/school-information\/friends-association\/","title":{"rendered":"Friends Association PTA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p id=\"docs-internal-guid-3595f9b8-b249-2128-24e2-9f7a772dee85\" dir=\"ltr\">We are delighted to share with you that we have launched our new Parent Teacher Association ( PTA).\u00a0Our main\u00a0 objectives are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To raise funds to provide the school with additional equipment not normally provided by the Local Education Authority.<\/li>\n<li>To arrange social events for children and parents.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The members of the Association include all parents and guardians of present pupils, all school staff, Governors and others interested in the welfare of Wood Ley School.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">We have planned termly events such as\u00a0a Winter Enterprise Event,\u00a0 Children\u2019s Disco, Quiz night and Coloured Hamper Raffles. \u00a0If you would like to help with any event or have any ideas please let us know.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">In addition to the above the Association has two other key roles:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To provide a service where necessary, e.g. refreshments at school functions.<\/li>\n<li>To support the development of the school as a focal point within the local community.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are delighted to share with you that we have launched our new Parent Teacher Association ( PTA).\u00a0Our main\u00a0 objectives are: To raise funds to provide the school with additional equipment not normally provided by the Local Education Authority.
