It also ensures that we continue to tackle issues of disadvantage and underachievement of different groups.<\/p><p>Our approach to equality is based on the following key principles:<\/p><ol><li>All learners are of equal value<\/li><li>We recognise and respect difference<\/li><li>We foster positive attitudes and relationships and a shared sense of cohesion and belonging.<\/li><li>We observe good equalities practice in staff recruitment, retention and development.<\/li><li>We aim to reduce and remove inequalities and barriers that already exist.<\/li><li>We have the highest expectations of all our children.<\/li><\/ol><p><a href=\"http:\/\/The school Anti Bullying Policy outlines how the school aims to prevent bullying and sanctions that are imposed if bullying is found to have taken place.    \u2022\tThe school counters and challenges all types of discriminatory behaviour and this is made clear to staff, pupils, parents and governors; \u2022\tThe school has a clear, agreed procedure for dealing with prejudice related bullying incidents. \u2022\tA member of staff or other adult in the school community who considers that they are being bullied is encouraged to talk to the Headteacher.
