We are delighted to share with you that we have launched our new Parent Teacher Association ( PTA). Our main  objectives are:

• To raise funds to provide the school with additional equipment not normally provided by the Local Education Authority.
• To arrange social events for children and parents.

The members of the Association include all parents and guardians of present pupils, all school staff, Governors and others interested in the welfare of Wood Ley School.

We have planned termly events such as a Winter Enterprise Event,  Children’s Disco, Quiz night and Coloured Hamper Raffles.  If you would like to help with any event or have any ideas please let us know.

In addition to the above the Association has two other key roles:

• To provide a service where necessary, e.g. refreshments at school functions.
• To support the development of the school as a focal point within the local community.
